Whether you can ski or not, a trip to the Highlands is never complete without a ride in the Ben Nevis Range gondolas.

Nowhere else in Britain can you find such a facility as the mountain gondolas. Reaching high into the Ben Nevis Range, where some of the highest skiing in Scotland is found, constructed upon Aonach Mor (the eighth highest mountain in Great Britain), the gondolas assist in the transporting of skiers to the higher slopes. Hang gliders and paragliders make use of the gondolas in order to launch themselves off the mountain tops.

Donít worry if you are not much of a skier or have not tried skiing before for help is at hand. There are lessons to be had by professional instructors. The Nevis Range Ski and Board School instructors offer first rate lessons for skiers of all levels. The resort offers a reasonable deal on equipment hire Ė handy for those who havenít yet committed themselves to winter sports.

You donít have to be a skier to take a trip in the gondolas. A gondola ride up to the centre takes about fifteen minutes and there is enough room to fit six persons. Ben Nevis Range offers much more besides from the amazing panoramic vistas across Fort William to the delicious home baked treats up at the Snowgoose Restaurant.
